Connect Helferlain to Cursor

Use Helferlain from Cursor (or any other MCP client like Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, OpenClaw). The MCP server URL is the same — only the client UI differs.

Prerequisites

  • Cursor 0.42+ with MCP support enabled.
  • A Helferlain workspace with at least one connected ad account.

Setup steps

  1. 01

    Open Cursor → Settings → MCP

    In Cursor open Settings → MCP Servers and click Add new.
  2. 02

    Configure the connector

    Set the transport to http and paste the Helferlain MCP URL above. Cursor triggers the OAuth flow on first call.
  3. 03

    Verify

    In a chat, run: “List my Google Ads campaigns from Helferlain”. Cursor invokes google_ads_list_campaigns and renders the response. Changes go through google_ads_mutate_with_approval: a dry run by default, a real change only with an approval token for exactly those operations, and hard limits on every path (new campaigns paused, bids at most 10 €, bidModifier at most 1.5, lowerCamelCase keys, partialFailure: false for resourceType: googleAds).
